Sculpture*The Met Store Edgar Degas: Dancer with Raised Right Foot Sculpture

Our reproduction is based on an original bronze sculpture cast in 1920 from an earlier model by Edgar Degas (French, 1834–1917) probably in wax; one of several versions he created that explore subtle variations in the dynamics of a dancer’s movement.
