Send season’s greetings with art holiday cards from The Met.
This unique set of holiday cards features a decorative Tree of Life motif from a 1909 watercolor sketch by Gustav Klimt (Austrian, 1862–1918). He made the sketch in preparation for the dramatic frieze he designed for the luxurious Palais Soclet in Brussels. A leading member of the Vienna Secession, a group of radical designers and artists founded in 1897, Klimt is celebrated for his highly ornamental style.
Please note that our holiday cards reproduce original works of art, some of which include visual artifacts and imperfections.
